Wireless LAN Tower Light Series

The MSystem IT40SW, IT50SW and IT60SW Series are preassembled tower lights of 40-mm, 50-mm, and 60-mm diameter LED modules with wireless LAN connectivity. The WLAN access point built in the IP 65 protected tower light is a simple and practical solution for status remote monitoring, data logging, and supervisory control of manufacturing equipment and processes in harsh industrial environment.

The WLAN capability complying with IEEE 802.11b/g/n allows a wide compatibility with MSystem’s and other manufacturers’ remote I/O modules and web-enabled data loggers. This supports versatile applications such as data acquisition and control of multiple machines by a single master PLC located in one without needing hard wiring between each of them or event notification to tablet devices with texts and images from manufacturing equipment.

Wireless LAN Light Features

  • Energy saving, maintenance free LED lights
  • Remote monitoring and data logging via WLAN network by bridging signals to/from Ethernet Modbus/TCP I/Os
  • Wireless LAN access point and infrastructure mode
  • Wireless LAN connection complied with IEEE802.11b/g/n
  • Bright and even illumination thanks to MSystem’s original reflection system
  • Rugged IP 65 construction is ideal for harsh industrial applications

The LED lights are controlled either by local contact inputs or by a host PLC/PC via Modbus/TCP network.

Open Network Capable Tower Light Series

The MSYSTEM IT40S, IT50S and IT60S Series are preassembled tower lights of 40-mm, 50-mm, and 60-mm diameter LED modules. They feature direct control by PLC via Ethernet Modbus/TCP (model: ITxxSRE) or CC-Link (model: ITxxSRC).

Open Network Light Features

  • Energy saving, maintenance free LED lights
  • Direct Ethernet and CC-Link control saves wiring and cost
  • Bright and even illumination thanks toMSystem’s original reflection system
  • Number and color of LED modules can be freely combined
  • Rugged IP 65 construction is ideal for harsh industrial

In combination with MSystem’s remote I/O modules, local discrete signals can trigger the light modules connected with single network cables via a remote PLC, saving a great part of parallel wiring from sensor devices to the PLC’s input cards, and from the PLC’s output cards to the lights.

Contact input type (ITxxSA1) without network connection is also available for local control.
