Abstract:
Acceleration, Velocity, Proximity for Vibration Measurement
Vibration measurement is not only key to understanding equipment failures as a diagnostic tool, but
it is even more valuable as a preventative measure to monitor equipment health and plan maintenance
before the failure occurs. This presentation will cover the basic concept and technology of several
common vibration measurement parameters.
– General Topic of Acceleration, Velocity, Proximity for Vibration Measurement
– Application of each measurement
– Proximity Theory and system requirements
– Demonstration on a Digital Proximity System
