Toxic and Combustible Gas Leak Detection in the Water Industry
August 24, 2021Dexter Vilar, NSI Application Engineer, will be presenting at the American Water Works Association’s 2021 New Jersey Section Annual Conference, running this Tuesday, August 31st through Thursday, September 2nd at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ.
Entitled Toxic and Combustible Gas Leak Detection in the Water Industry, the presentation will cover strategies for monitoring, detecting, and alerting personnel of toxic and combustible gas leaks you’ll be able to put into practice at your own facility. Gas leak detection instrumentation along with alarm control and annunciation hardware options will be discussed, along with basic theories, principles, and demonstrations detailing how this equipment works.
The presentation starts at 1:15 PM on the Conference’s second day – Wednesday, September 1st – and Dexter plans on enthralling you with the intricacies of gas leak detection for about 30 minutes. He will then repeat the session approximately every half hour until 3:30 PM that afternoon.
